How to Use Your Manga List

1. Getting Started: Upload or Create

You have two ways to begin managing your manga list:

A) Upload an Existing List

If you have a previously saved list, you can upload it in .txt, .pdf, or .json format. The app will automatically parse it and display your collection.

For .txt and .pdf files, the format must be precise. Each category should be a plain text line, followed by its entries. Each entry must follow this specific format:

[Manga Name Ch ChapterNumber](ImageURL)

Here is a valid .txt file example:

Manhwa

[Solo Leveling Ch 179](https://example.com/cover.jpg)
[The Beginning After The End Ch 125](https://example.com/cover2.jpg)

Manga

[One Piece Ch 1044](https://example.com/cover3.jpg)

Note: For perfect backups and restoration, using the JSON format is highly recommended as it preserves all data, including cover image URLs, without any parsing errors.

B) Create a New List

Don't have a file? No problem. Click the "+ New" button to start a fresh list from scratch. It's incredibly easy to build your collection from the ground up.

Simply create your first category (e.g., "Reading" or "Finished") and then start adding your favorite manga and manhwa to it. You can add as many categories and entries as you like.

Crucial: Your list is stored only in your browser session. To avoid losing your work, make sure to regularly download your list using the "Save & Download" options found in the sidebar. Saving it as a JSON file is the safest way to keep a perfect backup that you can re-upload later.

2. Managing Your Categories

Your categories are the backbone of your list, helping you organize your collection effectively. Here’s how you can easily manage them:

  • Add a Category: Use the input box at the top of the page or click the floating '+' button on the left to add new categories (e.g., "Manhwa," "Dropped," "Favorites").
  • Rename a Category: Made a typo or changed your mind? Hover over a category title and click the yellow pencil icon to give it a new name.
  • Delete a Category: To remove a category and all its entries, hover over its title and click the red trash can icon. You'll be asked to confirm this action.
  • Reorder Categories: Want to see your most important categories first? Open the sidebar (click the ☰ icon) and use the ▲ and ▼ arrows next to each category name to change their order. The main view will update instantly.

3. Managing Manga/Manhwa Entries

Each entry in your list represents a specific manga or manhwa. You have granular control over every item.

  • Add an Entry: Click the blue '+' button in any category header to add a new row. Fill in the manga name and current chapter, then click 'Save'. A cover image will be fetched automatically.
  • Edit Name/Chapter: Simply click on the text in the 'Name' or 'Chapter' columns to edit it directly. The changes are saved automatically when you click away or press Enter.
  • Delete an Entry: Click the 'Delete' button at the end of any row to remove the entry from your list.
  • Refresh Cover: If a cover image is missing, broken, or incorrect, click the small green 'R' button. This will attempt to fetch a new cover from the Jikan API. (Requires an internet connection and an accurate manga title for best results).

4. Saving & Downloading Your List

This is the most important step! Your list exists only in your browser. To prevent losing your data, you must save it. Open the sidebar (☰ icon) to find the download options.

You can download your entire list in three different formats:

  • TXT: A simple, human-readable text file, useful for quick viewing.
  • PDF: A portable document ideal for sharing, printing, or viewing on different devices.
  • JSON (Recommended): This is the best option for creating a perfect, loss-free backup. A JSON file saves all your categories, entries, and image links exactly as they are, allowing you to re-upload and restore your list perfectly on this site at any time.
